Volunteering at WeeCycle

Diapers, wipes and other baby supplies are everyday necessities, but for many Colorado families, keeping them on hand can be a real financial challenge. WeeCycle reports that an average monthly supply of diapers costs about $100, and diapers aren’t covered by WIC or SNAP benefits. That can leave families making difficult choices between diapers and other essentials such as food, housing and transportation.

That’s why the Collegiate Peaks Bank team was happy to roll up our sleeves for a Baby Supplies Drive Day with WeeCycle. Our employees headed out into the community to collect diapers and other much-needed baby supplies to help keep WeeCycle stocked and ready to serve Colorado families.

WeeCycle provides diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and essential baby gear to families throughout Colorado through mobile distributions and a network of nonprofit partners.

For us, spending a day collecting supplies was a simple, hands-on way to support that work. It’s exactly the kind of community involvement we value at Collegiate Peaks Bank: showing up, working together and doing something tangible that makes life better for our neighbors.
