Supporting Junior Achievement of the Rocky Mountains

Collegiate Peaks Bank was proud to join the Junior Achievement of the Rocky Mountains Bowl‑A‑Thon, a flagship fundraiser that brings together corporations in support of youth financial literacy and career readiness. As one of the largest annual events hosted by JA‑Rocky Mountain, thousands of professionals bowl, socialize, and raise funds—often more than $1 million collectively—to empower students across the region, Our team not only had a blast rolling strikes and spares but also felt energized knowing our efforts directly support JA’s mission.

Junior Achievement’s programs focus on delivering critical lessons in personal finance, entrepreneurship, and work readiness to K–12 students through hands-on curricula and interactive simulations. The funds raised at events like the Bowl‑A‑Thon make these programs available to schools at no cost, enabling young learners to connect classroom knowledge with real-world economic skills. It's estimated that donations from each event—such as ours—help sponsor entire classroom modules, with $150 per bowler translating into a full JA session for students.

Beyond the lanes, our involvement aligns with Collegiate Peaks Bank’s broader commitment to community engagement. Participating in the Bowl‑A‑Thon was more than a fun afternoon—it was an investment in the financial futures of Colorado’s youth, and we're excited to continue supporting JA’s life-changing work in the years ahead.
