Showing up for Chaffee County Youth
A lot of hard work goes int every animal that enters the ring at the Chaffee County Fair. The annual 4-H Junior Market Livestock Sale gives the community a chance to recognize that dedication while supporting young people who have spent months raising, caring for and preparing their animals.This year’s sale raised an impressive $382,825, and Collegiate Peaks Bank was proud to be among the local businesses showing their support. Chief Operations Officer Jami Smith spearheaded our purchase of the Grand Champion swine, putting our support directly behind a young 4-H participant and the hard work that led to that moment.
With deep roots in Salida and Buena Vista, we believe in showing up for the traditions and people that make Chaffee County special. Supporting 4-H is an investment in local yout and in the responsibility, confidence and work ethic they’ll carry with them f0r a lifetime.
