Marketing with a Purpose

At Collegiate Peaks Bank, much of our marketing is rooted in the causes our people care about. Recently, Caitlin Turner and Brianna Reyes joined fellow marketers at Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity for a Lunch & Learn, Lead with Generosity: Unlocking the Power of Corporate Partnerships, to share how meaningful partnerships with local nonprofits can strengthen communities, engage employees and build brands in a more authentic way.

Our approach starts with the passions and connections of our team members. In this case, Brianna’s involvement helped create a relationship with Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity that grew into opportunities to give back, get involved and connect with others who care about the community. It’s the kind of partnership we value most—one where support creates opportunities for real engagement.

We believe community involvement can be one of the most meaningful ways to market our bank because it’s cause-driven, purposeful and creates tangible impact. When we support the organizations our people care about in the communities where we live and work, good things happen: nonprofits gain committed partners, our employees get to support causes that matter to them, and new relationships grow naturally along the way. It’s community banking in the truest form, and that's the way we like it.
