Donating nearly $15,000 to Chaffee County organizations

Collegiate Peaks Bank's Salida office will be making check presentations to Chaffee County nonprofits with early $15,000 in charitable contributions to be split between multiple organizations. The check presentations are part of the bank’s donation program for bank customers and reflect the culture and commitment of giving back to the communities they serve. Recipients:
Ark Valley – $8,530.00
“A key component of our bank’s culture is supporting the communities we serve, and the effort to raise money for local charities is a great testament to the caring spirit of our customers and employees,” said Joe Smith, Mountain Regional President of Collegiate Peaks Bank. “Our entire team makes a point of finding ways to lend a helping hand and contributing to the betterment of our local communities.”
How the Donation Program Works:
Bank customers are invited to visit any of Collegiate Peaks Bank’s six branches (DTC, Belcaro, RiNo, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Buena Vista or Salida) and open any new deposit account. At that time, Collegiate Peaks Bank will donate $10.00 to one of the local nonprofits of your choice. Organizations are selected in the communities we serve, and they may rotate in order for the bank to support multiple organizations. Collegiate Peaks Bank will combine the customer donations and forward the total to each of the organizations once every six months.
